AC Shadows Introduces Unexpected Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the official release, "A mysterious encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine sect.
The adventure concentrates on "bizarre trials and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
